haha hate him if you wish...but he puts on the best show, hands down, you will ever see. He gives every single bit of energy when he's up on stage. My one friend saw him in Washington. When AWK saw that there were metal gates separating the people from the stage, he decided to make the show more personal. He got off the stage and sang his entire set right in the middle of the crowd. Plus, he's the most gratious and kind singer I've ever met.

After his show in Upstate NY, AWK drove 20 miles out of his way just to meet up with about 20 people at a mall who had gone to his show. They didn't pay any extra for this, they had just asked him to come over. He then stayed for 2 hours, ate pizza, and hung out with everyone. My friend who was also their had talked to him about his plans in life and, when he asked for AWK's autograph, AWK not only gave him one, but he wrote him an entire paragraph encouraging him to follow his dreams. He also hung out with us in my friend's car, signing the sun flap thing on the passenger side.

I don't know, I guess I'm partial just because I've seen how great of a guy he is. I think he makes great, upbeat music....gives all he's got when performing...and is a winner off the stage, too.

'Party Hard' was a good song, in my opinion, fast and hard-hitting, good for a certain mood. Other than that, haven't been very interested in his music ... he's fucking crazy in his videos. So crazy it's kinda scary.

If what everyone says is true, he sounds like a pretty cool guy. We need more people like this in the music industry.

He may have....but he made a good point this time haha. I don't necessarily agree with the first part about Drive-Thru (altough I'm not a huge fan of the label) but the second part about AWK is definitely true. The stuff on TBS? Probably somewhat rumors, although from some of the things I've heard, Adam is not the nicest of people.

Adam pours his heart and soul into every word he sings on stage, and gives it his all every time he goes out there, along with each and every band member. I have every inch of respect possible for Adam Lazarra and Taking Back Sunday ... don't take that away from me.

haha, ok my bad. I didn't use that Adam reference as a direct slight to you...I kind of wrote it as a reply to all, not just to you. I know it looked like a direct thing, but I totally didn't mean for it to be.

First, I want to say I agree with you on every other member of TBS. I had met them before after they opened for Catch 22 in April of '02. They were all nice guys, although my personal experience with Adam was that he was a little withdrawn. From other stories I have heard of him, it seems to go along the same lines. TBS is an extremely talented band and deserves all the respect and success they achieve. All I said was that one of the members didn't seem to have the same appreciation for his fans as someone like AWK (although, it's pretty hard to compare to AWK).
