And I like both of the album covers. Even though some people don't like when musicians are on their own album covers, (me included), I think its okay in the case of TGP because it kinda represents Andrew reconnecting with his music after everything he had to go through. 6 weeks is not what I would classify as "a few". Anyway...

I have downloaded it and am in the stage of running through it a few times to see how I like it. Usually takes a few spins for me to really judge. I'm liking it so far. I told myself I wasn't going to do it but I couldn't take it. So I pre-orderd it, then downloaded it. Therefore I really purchased the music I'm currently listening to. I have no problem with people downloading this as long as they choose to purchase it at some point. I always purchase the CD's that I am highly anticipating regardless if I've downloaded it before the true release.

Fair enough. I respect the band as well (I bought Everything In Transit, seen them twice, got 2 shirts from them, and supported Andrew by getting an, "I Will Fight Band"). But I figured if I could hear the album now to know if it holds up, then I might as well.

I am enjoying The Glass Passenger. I was listening to Caves and went to look up the lyrics on songmeanings.net and someone had left a comment saying how they really related to the song because she too has cancer. I just kind of got really emotional and i'm typically not a soft person.

I've spun The Glass Passenger a number of times now and it truly is fantastic. I thought it was barely above average on the first listen, but very quickly after I put it on again I started to get very attached. Love "Spinning", "What Gets You Off", "Hammer and Strings", and "The Resolution". I felt Everything In Transit made a personal connection with you and Andrew definitely replicates it again here. Mad props to him.

I did Coldplay on amazon and got it two days after it's release.

I've did Lovedrug and one other on their official sites and got them them on Saturday, which was a few days before it's release.
