why do you care what other people think of your music taste... I mean seriously. Listen to what you like, not what is cool to like....

P.S. I'm not serious about the 2, but the fact that you have to rate your music taste means you are kind of missing the point.

Does My Musical Taste Suck? would have been a better way to phrase it. And yes, it kind of does. There are some good bands on there like CTTS and Rites of Spring. Keeping that in mind I think that you should check out Sunny Day Real Estate, The Get Up Kids, Hot Cross, Saetia, The Promise Ring, Drive Like Jehu. Jets To Brazil, and/or Moss Icon. You might like some of those bands and then you can branch out from there.

Yeah, I'd like some recommendations, I mostly like post-hardcore, screamo and emo. I've listened to Ampere, CTTS, IWSMOFY, La Quiete, Rites of Spring, Saetia and Sunny Day Real Estate, so I'd like few recommendations along the lines of those bands, and good post-hardcore bands.

There were a few posts here that made me reflect a bit. It was pretty stupid posting a topic asking if my music tastes sucked. I've come to realize that no band is that horrible or sucks that bad (ahem, there are exceptions though...), but it all depends on what every person likes. Hell, I've met people that I quote as saying Led Zeppelin and Clutch are both sh*tty bands. So if you ask me, I like the bands I listen to. You can say my music tastes suck, that's fine I guess. I'm open to anything you might want to recommend me (again, I'm enjoy various bands posted before).

If you want an honest opinion there's about a million other bands you could be listening to that are better, but why do you care what other people have to say about your taste in music? If you like it, keep liking it who gives a shite. Aaand since you seem to be into that whole br00tal metal thing, I would suggest August Burns Red-Thrill Seeker. Good shit.
