long island scenesters needed for help on show!!

hey i'm looking to put on a show at the downtown with possibly these bands -glassjaw, from autumn to ashes, the reunion show, brand new and straylight run.


the show would (god willing) be on a friday in the summer and i was thinking about charging between 15 and 20$. would this be acceptable?

hell yeah, that would be quite an awesome show. i would definetely pay at least 20 bucks to see that. especially at the downtown.

you can't just book a show at the downtown. have you ever even BEEN there?

the fact that someone thinks they can book a show there makes me laugh. its like saying "hey, i'm gonna go and play guitar with blink-182 tonight."

Hey- If you guys are regulars to the DT- you should check out the Smashup- they're playing there in June and are definitely in the vein of those bands- you can check em' at out www.thesmashup.com- they just finished a record produced by the same guy that did Thursday and TBS- definitely rip!
