The sun rises up
the noose falls down
all over the radios
all you hear is the static heartbeat
of children
but its far too late, you can't appeal
to my emotions any longer
you will notice my smirk
as the curtain falls on your life
through out it all, i kept your secret

so watch as i pull back my sleeve
and show you my arms
the thin scars laced on them
in patterns cross-hatched
visible scars compensate
for my invisible ones
