Yeah. Saves the Days' new CD was terrible. And Armor for Sleep didn't just disappoint, but it was terrible as well. As for Coheed, that was a really good CD, but totally not #1. Rufio's new CD was good too.
Yellowcard on Absoltuepunk.net is a totally overhyped band, but other than that I would totally disagree. I never hear anyone talk about JamisonParker either.
Yes, Brand New is overrated. :)

Thursday was good and so was Blink but I also took into account the amount of money that went into each release. Thanks for taking time to look.

The reason I chose Jamison Parker is because before they even played their first show together or went on their first tour, we already knew their name. Something is wrong with that in my opinion. I actually saw at one of their first shows with Straylight Run.

so it was thursdays first major release. what did you expect. it would have been just as good if half as much money was put into it. just like full collapse.. awesome cd not much money put into it.
but i do like the fact that you dont have thrice on your list! thank god.

Ok, cool. I'll check them out.
One reason I like Gob is that I know the guys.

Awesome, yea I used to be on their street team a long time ago but I don't know them. I was just extremely disappointed with their Arista release.
Personally, I loved The World According To Gob even though I know a lot of people didn't. I wish them the best of luck with future endeavors.

Yeah, i'll admit..Foot In Mouth Disease was probably their worst release yet..but I still enjoyed it a bit. The World According To Gob was amazing. I absolutely love that record.

"As you open Saves the Day’s latest release In Reverie, it’s like grabbing that bottle of milk that you’ve been looking forward to drinking, and then, all of a sudden catching eye of the expiration date. There’s nothing else to drink, so you go for it. The fact of the matter is that to some this album will come off as nothing more then curdled milk, but to others it will be a very big relief."
the above is taken from my good friend Robert Velasquez's review of "In Reverie".

well, I think rpm is quite amazing...but that's me. I don't have the same taste as you people, and for that I'm hated, so don't call me close-minded when you people are no better. Besides, I haven't listened to much of the albums everyone here seems to love...anything I have listened to I don't enjoy much.

Yeah, but seriously..how can you honestly make a statement like you did, saying RPM was the best release of the year (that's fine) and that EVERYTHING ELSE was the worst release of the year (that's what's wrong with it). Just think about what you say before you say it, that's all i'm saying here.
It doesn't matter how many other albums you've heard this year. You can't possibly say everything else was the worst release of the year. That's just stupid.
And no matter how much I may disagree with you, or not get along with you...I don't hate you.

You just don't get it...we never EVER said there's anything wrong with you praising rise against. Because, there isn't. It's just the way you words things that make you sound extremely ignorant and stupid. And we don't hate you.
You just blow things way out of proportion. Calm down. Settle yourself. And what was the point of calling us fucktards ? Do you really expect us to help by reccomending stuff after that.

Ritcher ....
It is almost not humanly possible to only listen to one band, therefore making your post of Best - Rise Against, Worst - Everything else, either fucking stupid or a huge exaggeration. So tell us, what else do you listen to, what other bands? Fine by me praising Rise Against, but you have to like some other bands.

oh. Well, you have to understand...when I say things like my earlier post...it's more so to show my respect towards rise against and shouldn't be taken too seriously.
And I said fucktards in response to you guys calling my post (and me) retarded and small-minded. It was just a reaction. Alright, I couldn't tell if you guys were crawling up my ass about this, that's why I got a bit upset. I apologize. So now recommend some stuff which you feel is much better than RPM.

I don't listen to just one band. But all those new bands people seem to love so much like Senses Fail, JamisonParker, Mae, HIM...I don't like these bands. I listen to a good number of pop punk, OI, and streetpunk bands too. Ya saying everything else is the Worst is indeed an exaggeration...don't take it seriously. shit, you're right. That is fucked up, you're absolutely right. I guess I was just rattling off bands who's names I keep seeing on this board. I have listened to senses fail and jamisonparker. Top Three Pop-Punk Albums
Brand New - Deja Entendu
Blink 182 - Self Titled
Fall Out Boy - Take This To Your Grave After seeing this, I have gained a reasonable amount of respect for Knife Party. Good picks in all categories.
