I read an interview with him where he said that this new band is more HIS music instead of a collaboration like Fenix TX was. And I've noticed that art (music, movies, whatever) are always better when they come from ONE artist. He said that's part of what tore Fenix apart. I've never gotten around to checking Denver Harbor out though.
tearjerker is one of my fav. songs by them. Mine too, and my girlfriend's! In a way, it's almost "OUR" song, if you don't mind me getting corny on you.
Hey, I thought you don't like any Drive-Thru bands!! Oh well, I guess PAST Drive-Thru bands don't count.

who you talking to
It was a general statement, a lot of people on here seem to like bands that are similar to one another, or at least not starkly differerent. They say variety is the spice of life, this applies to music as well. Granted, I don't know how long everyone here has been avidly into music, but there's a lot more out there than Drive-Thru, Victory and the latest fake screamo bands.

wait, how could that of been the best thing you've ever read on here...yet, you listed taking back sunday and thursday ? theres wrong with tbs or thursday, but they happen to fall under the category he was insulting.
Don't act like you're the only one on here who listens to ATDI and The Mars Volta, etc.
I hate TBS, but at least that person had a bit of diversity on their list. And they like Saetia, if you think the Used and Finch are screamo, listen to Saetia. I don't have a problem with Thursday, at least they're somewhat original, but they're not my cup of tea.

I never said I was better than anyone, you can listen to whatever you want, but damn, change it up a bit. It's like eating a peanut butter sandwich every day for lunch. Haven't you ever wanted to try turkey? Also, I'm not "promoting" anything, simply espousing my opinion. There's a difference between the two, you might not learn that from Tate, but trust me, there is.

Well obviously we like some of the same bands, otherwise we wouldn't both post here. He was pointing out lack of variety though, and if you'll check my list, variety's something I've got in spades.
