some people say
"SAY OH SIN"
but anthony green sorta kinda started the band and all,
and he says
"SAY OCEAN"

so yeah?
what do you think?
stick with anthony green or the scene pronunciation?

Yeah, there's a video out there where Green is asked how to pronounce it and he says Say-Ocean. He might have been kinding, but it is pronounced Sa-oh-sin now.

Say-Oh-Sin because it makes sense... Say-Ocean can't be pronounced Saosin without a heavy lisp/accent.

I don't see where a y would come in. I say Sao-sin basically. But it's from some chinese words so i guess it should be pronounced like someone from China would say it?

It is the same pronounciation for me. Unless I draw it out a bit, but that's not the way I talk. Hell, I don't even say the t in the prefix anti.

I remember when of them saying that the actualy correct way to prounce the first syllable was "shou"
but that it was never what they intended.

Go fucking Wikipedia it, they have a good explanation. It's Say-Ocean and it roughly means don't get too attached to something, because it will eventually be gone. Or something along the lines of that.
