i heard this band broke up... and im wondering if anyone knows why. their cd "soundtrack for a generation" was such a kickass cd. i just found it and popped it in. i now know why i bought it. its soo good. but can anyone tell me why they broke up? (im not looking for "they broke up cause they suck" because thats just a waste of your time)

No idea on why they broke up. But, they were really good. That was an awesome album.

I can't quite remember but it was along the lines of they just wanted to go their separate ways or so.

I think the song is called "Anyway You Want It". I don't know why bands insist on covering this awful song. Various bands have tried their hand at it, and each cover seems worse than the last. It's not funny, it's not cute, it's really annoying.

Have you heard the Rise Against cover of it ? It's on their album Revolutions Per Minute.

And in my opinion, they covered that song amazingly well. It's awesome.

I love Rise Against, but their cover of that song is still bad. It's the only song off of their new album that I really don't like.

Fair enough. I guess it's your opinion. I'm a huge fan of Rise Against as well. RPM, and The Unravelling were both great albums. What are your favourite tracks off of RPM ?

I'd say the first two tracks on RPM are my favorite, along with "Torches". I prefer "The Unraveling" to RPM, but I love both albums. Be sure to check out The Killing Tree, the singer from Rise Against's other band.

i love this album as well. every song in my opinion is good except for falling for you. monday morning is so kickass and then the more 'deep' stuff is awesome as well

student rick is awesome!!!! i can't beleive they broke up either. but yeah i agree with whoever said they broek up cause they wanted to go their sperate ways. my fav. song was Through The Window!
