I went to a Greek restaurant over the weekend and ate one of Andrew Zimmern's favorite dishes--SUCKLING PIG! It was good. It was good. Kind of tasted like regular pork to me. The skin was pretty tough and I even found a few strands of pig hair on it :-|


For some reason, Old country buffet had a "bizarre" food on their menu yesterday. They had menudo, a (surprise!) Mexican soup made of tripe, sheep's stomach. It was disgusting.

I had no idea Zimmern used to have a huge drug and alcohol problem. He said he was homeless for about a year in NYC, surviving by stealing. I never expected that kind of history from him.
