Lupe vs Kanye

I think it's pretty damn creative to take something as unpopular in hip-hop culture as skateboarding and use it as a metaphor to address the subject of a kid learning how to sell drugs.

i think a one way we could compare lupe and kanye is through looking at kanye's "diamonds from sierra leon" and lupe's "conflict diamonds". Lupe's version is better for sure imo.

Lupe. Incredibly smart lyrical content/point of view, very down-to-earth, extremely high-energy live. All around one of the best MC's out right now, if not the best. Mad props.

What do you mean? Lupe has immense talent. The way he coasts over beats is top notch. His metaphors are layered with many different meanings fit into one track (see: "Kick, Push", "The Cool", and "Little Weapon".) Can touch on so many subjects and spit about them with knowledge and rhythm. Kanye has such unique beats and wordplay is on point. I don't know what you have been listened to.
