Haha, I play guitar..and have been playing for a few years. I'm actually really good at playing punk and pop-punk stuff...but, I still make my older brother change my strings. haha. I haven't taken the time to learn how to do it yet. sorry.

I don't know about two guitars ... but I have a couple.

Blink 182 - Dammit (quite easy, just have to get the timing right and do your strumming fast)
Blink 182 - The Rock Show (not bad)
Anything White Stripes

You could probably come up with second guitar parts for those ... a few kids in my school and me did dammit once with two electric guitars, bass, and singing (me), and we came up with a part for the second guitar (it's the later part in the song where its mostly power chords, we instituded that into the latter part of the intro ... blah ... try those ones.

As for the strings, you're supposed to change them every month, so I've heard.

Good luck.

PS. I don't play guitar, just a little bit, might want to take advice from somebody more experienced. :goofy:

Just google search, I'm sure you'll find some links that will help you out. As for easy songs to play...

Bob Marley - Redemption Song
AFI - God Called in Sick Today
AFI - A Single Second
Pennywise - Fuck Authority
Screeching Weasel - The Girl Next Door
CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings (is that the right number? CKY sucks btw)
Anti-Flag - 911 For Peace

Just listen to music, and if it sounds easy, look up the tabs at mxtabs.net and learn how to play it.

Blink 182 - Adams Song

You could easily make up a second part for that tune. That was one of the first songs I learned to play on guitar. A simple intro, with some palm muting in the verses and pre-chorus. And then straight into some power chords. Very simple, give it a shot.

Also: Green Day - When I Come Around

Another really simple beginners song.

And don't even get me started on 'Brain Stew' by Green Day.

I aslo just started playing guitar. But don't worry, It won't be long before I'm as good at that as I am at everything else.

It's not exactly difficult to become a decent guitar player.

I suggest learning on your own. Lessons suck.

bring it to a music store to change strings if you already dont know how to.

Its kind of hard to explain how to put strings on over the internet, plus im a lazy ass, but what i CAN tell you is, Screw those weak size 9 strings, get some Ernie Ball 10-52's!!!! They last longer, sound better, and....just get em'. Yea Blink songs are all great for beginning guitarists, those riffs make you faster and improve fingering. Damnit, Adams song, Whats my age again, Stay together for the kids, carosel(though i think its played on a bass, its still a cool riff), and when you get MORE advanced, M+M's is a kickass riff to impress people with at parties. later.
