Hi, if you have a second, check out my online zine. It is titled Unfinished, and it covers music, culture, etc. At the moment, it is mostly music oriented, but I also plan on branching out to film reviews as well. There are lots of reviews, interviews, downloads, and the what not. Check it out if you have a chance...

You are just one of the people that doesn't understand these sorts of advertisments are for the self-promotion forum. If there were mods around this weekend, then it would be moved, but there isn't mods around this weekend, but come Monday, when Ang logs onto her computer at work, she will be quite promt to move it, if it lasts that long on the front page.

This is very true.

....And the fact that the site he's promoting sucks, doesn't help matters much.

Listen to him.

If you don't listen to him, it won't be long before I have the FBI cruising into your home and inserting billy clubs into your ass.

Look, I think we've established that we are all becoming stupider every second this thread remains on the front page, so why not stop posting at it and let it fall off, instead of keeping it up at the top?

Don't be a jerk. I actually checked out the site, and they had quite an extensive album review section, where they reviewed som good stuff in a well-written fashion that consisted of more than calling everything "simply amazing" or "the voice of our generation" with no real backing or logic. Someone needs to teach that Tate kid how to review an album.

I checked out the site too, I didn't say it was bad, I was making a smartass comment because Knife Party does, in fact, support indie-rock fully. I have no problem with that, but it's true.

We fully support punk, pop-punk, hardcore, indie, whatever.

As long as it's good.

Yeah, I noticed that when I was over there. Look at their Top Ten Albums of the year. Just about everything there is a different genre.

Oh c'mon. Don't make it sound as if you're so open to anything.

You'll shut down anything if it's even mentioned on AP.

As long as it's good. Yes, I know, but can you truthfully say that Indie isn't the favourable genre among the Knife Party staff?

kevin

No, it's about split between punk, pop-punk and indie.

I try not to limit what I cover to a specific genre. Whatever's good is good.

Exactly. Some of the stuff AP promotes isn't good, therefore we don't like it.

I don't know. It seems to me that Ap's zine is more about whats popular and what has hype than what's actually good.
