Hello! I run my own label called Walnut Tree Records and I thought it was about time that I posted about it in here, I'm always checking out the recommendations in here! Walnut Tree Records is a one person run label from Watford in England, and I have three bands signed to my label and three releases this year...
PAIGE: (http://www.myspace.com/paigeuk) Summery pop-punk with massive hooks, for fans of Hit The Lights, Houston Calls, You Me At Six. Currently have a 5 track EP out called "If you say so" - which you can buy HERE (http://walnuttreerecords.bigcartel.com) and I will happily ship to North America. PORTMAN: Epic rock in the vein of Moneen and Circa Survive - which a big comic book influence in their lyrics and song meanings. They currently have an awesome 13 track album out which can be bought HERE (http://walnuttreerecords.bigcartel.com) and again I'll happily send copies out to North America. The band are just putting the finishing touches to their new video and podcast and I'll post about them when they are ready. WAITING FOR SIRENS: Pop-punk with a splash of piano and keyboard - for fans of Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate and Mae. About to release their debut 5 track EP which can be previewed at www.myspace.com/waitingforsirens (http://www.myspace.com/waitingforsirens). The EP has some brilliant artwork too and it's well worth checking out at their myspace page! The band will shortly be making a new video and I'll post that when it's ready.
