Cd-ROM help

I recently purchased a Mad Dog Multimedia CD-ROM Lightning Drive (56X max) CD-ROM drive for my computer. My old CD-ROM drive didn't open anymore and it no longer read the CD's that I did get in there. I installed the new drive following the instructions, now, I don't see my CD-ROM drive in my My Computer window and my A drive now says "Removable Disk (A: )". Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

If you got it from Best Buy they should do it for you, if you take it in....if not your fucked (not really I just have no clue)...

You might wanna just wait till tomorrow to finish installing it because im sure they have a hotline you can call that can help you through installing it and everything...
