Deja Entendu

OK i am amazed. Im sorry I just have to say somthing. This is one of the best albums I have heard. It is so good. Every song is very diffrent and it is just put together so well. Im so happy I finally got around to listning to Brand new. I thank everyone here that has talked about them becouse I would have never found out about them. AWSOME ALBUM.

Mudvayne... easily one of my favorite bands.... listen to severed and prod. also, if you really dont care about god/ dont believe in him. mudvayne can propose better and more logical explaniation... like the same theory i think is true.. about all life being brought to earth by a exploded star.

I don't see how you can't get into the songs, Jessie is such an amazing writer.Personally I can relate to the situations in most of the songs. I don't know about Entendu getting album of the year, but "Play Crack the Sky" should at least be in the top five songs of the year

(i actually hadn't listened to in awhile) and for some reason i was kinda depressed today which might of made it better. But this cd is easily one of my favorite cd's of all time. It's fucking amazing....and i think everything about it is absolutely perfect.

dude, now you are an idiot. its not catchy because it isnt punk. jesus christ. music doesnt have to be catchy to qualify as good music. and just cause he doesnt have a little girly voice doesnt mean he cant sing. i wanna see someone pull off some of the screams he does. and he sounds better live than he does on the cd. chad (the lead singer) is a great vocalist and i seriously wanna see someone who can sing better than him and pull off the scream near the end of "death blooms," i almost passed out trying to. and their drummer is awesome. and dude "dig" is a hard song to play on guitar as is most others from what i heard. and he does the best slides. so i really dont know what your talking about. the guitarist is really fast. and their bassist also kickass. he's one of the best slap bassist i have ever heard or seen. and just to let you know. they dont wear face paint anymore because it started to become them not the music as it was first intended. but whatever. you can have your own opinion... really you can. and im sure your opinion is bias due to the fact that they are punk. but whatever im tired of arguing with your stupid ass.

Guys, let's not give this album more credit than it deserves.

Sure, it shows a lot of maturity for the band and Jesse as writer, but it's in no way amazing. It's an enjoyable album with catchy lyrics, that's it. I'm sick of hearing how amazing this album is and that it's the best this year.

I don't know if I'd say it was an embarrassment, since it got some people to "respect" punk. But I do agree with you i general. I wasn't a huge fan of the cd, but it's just my opinion.

I believe Your Favorite Weapon and Deja Entendu are both good records, completely different so I really can't compare. I think it is a real talent to be able to switch between styles. Referring to the guy who said Blink better than Brand New. I personally think Blink gets too much credit. I mean their new album is a slight change and some people act like they just created a whole new genre of music. Just an opinion, but feel free to respond.
