I have just picked up Agaetis Byrjun up due to a Rec from a friend, and it is completely and utterly beautiful.

Hey, I LOVE Sigur Ros. Beautiful music. But they aren't really doing anything that hasn't been done before. Listen to some symphonic orchestras, this kind of beautiful music has been played for a long time. Very good music, but they don't need so much praise for being different. Sweeping, epic passages with no structure.. it's been done before.

But they are an amazing band.

I disagree with a majority of their reviews and we never have the same albums of the year. I'd say it's just a matter of singer-songwriters being lumped into "indie" nowadays, which is in turn automatically associated with Pitchfork/hipsters/elitism.

'Scuse me if I'm wrong, but you don't seem like a superhero kinda guy. I've found these movies (the Nolan Batman ones) to be a lot easier to swallow because there really isn't anything supernatural, superhuman, etc going on. That, coupled with great acting and a well-paced story, really = no fail.

Untitled 3 is mine. It's so beautiful and pure.

#3 is a great track. #1 is still my favorite but #8 is pretty close behind.
