are amazing, the new clip at vagrant shows much promise, it sounds like something to write home about, not to say that i didnt enjoy 'on a wire' because it showed much musical maturity.

Unless they started playing Four Minute Mile type stuff, I doubt I'll ever really enjoy this band again.

On A Wire was ridicously bad....I thought but the rest of their stuff is very satisfying.

They're not bad. Listenable.

Huh? It has better production if that's what you mean. That doesn't mean anything though. The music they played was a lot different on STWHA. It was slower and the vocals weren't as interesting. Neither was the music really. On A Wire was boring campfire shit. They're really bad at that kind of music.

interesting, i think you completely wrong but your obviously set in your ways. but i guess Holiday, Action and Action,Ten Minutes, I'm a Loner Dottie, a Rebel...,Close to Home arnt up beat as four min mile as in Fall Semester, Lowercase West Thomas ,Better Half, etc. You make it sound as if you havnt even listened to the record.

What STWHA are you talking about? It's not even close to the sound of FMM. I mean, come on man. "there's so many, OTHER THINGS for me, to find out" compared to "ten minutes to downtown, is ten minutes too far"? Much different sounds. They were more aggressive and bitter sounding on their old stuff. STWHA is much more poppier. And they started adding the acoustic parts.

thats funny that you would pick 2 songs by 2 different songwritters to show me the 'albums' are different, Why dont you compare Matts Songs? " Im betting on the last leg of this trip im finding you there"."your not something im willing to lose" Matt writes about the same things on both albums. That is Undebatable.

Wow, and that guy in Korn has been writing about the same stuff for 10 years while their sound has gotten progressively more computerized and shittier. Oh, but the lyrics are still the same! Big fucking deal. They changed their sound a great deal after FMM.

I'm not really a Get Up Kids fan, so I can't say i'll be waiting to hear anything from them. But, i'll give it a shot when any new stuff comes out. My favourite GUK song is 'Ten Minutes'.

Matt Pryor sings 85% of the songs.

^-agreed
The Get Up Kids are definately overrated. Like someone earlier said, their older stuff is much better.
Also, you know your album sucks when your best song is a Bowie cover.
