downloading music...

so maybe im just looking in the wrong places, but i cant find anywhere that i can actually download mp3s anymore. kazaa doesnt have all the stuff i look for and purevolume doesnt let you download - you can only listen to stuff.

any suggestions?? <3

Theres many other places to look it just depends on who your trying to find.....here are some of the other Mp3 sites with bands that I've come across:

www.soundclick.com
www.garageband.com
www.mp3lizard.com

Theres many more just the ones off the top of my head that I know....If you know the artist your looking for another good idea is to check their record label because a lot of the time a band's, label's, site usually has some stuff by their bands....

Make sure you check the sites of the bands you're looking for, there always could be something in the Audio section, you never know. Other than that, FarPastGone has a few good suggestions, and if you download SoulSeek, from what I hear it has alot of unknown bands selection.

Yaah, I'd like to know what you're looking for aswell because Kazaa still has like pretty much everything.

well i still use kazaa, i mean it has a lot of good stuff... but mp3.com used to have unsigned bands and smaller artists - kazaa doenst have a lot of that.

On mIRC you can find leaked albums, new releases, etc... but if you're looking for more obscure bands.. go with SoulSeek.

No it doesnt... It has everything if all you download is TBS and Brand New, but it has shit for obscure music. Soulseek is probably the best bet if you're looking for underground bands.
