American Art is a wonderful album, top to bottom but the most accessible tracks would probably be "Trippin' the Life Fantastic", and "Atom Smash". "Drop the Mike" and "Armed to the Teeth" are personal favorites of mine.

I don't get this band. After all the Say Anything comparisons they got, I ordered the album off of eBay (twice, actually, accidentally). The singer from Weatherbox may have the worst voice I have ever heard. And Say Anything never falls into the trap of repeating the same line over and over and over again. Seriously, how many times does he say "Roof to bench the leathery ground" in that one song? And what the hell does that mean anyways?

Max Bemis is at the very least on key. The guy from Weatherbox...it's just pathetic. The intro to "Atoms Smash" is so great, and then he whines..."Atoms...smash...." with this voice that could curdle milk. Just terrible.

brian doesnt really move much on stage doesnt have much stage presence or didnt the time i saw them. thats the only thing i can think of that would make someone say they arnt good live.

When I saw them, they were damn near magical. Brian is really awkward on stage but his bass player was a beast and the other guitar player just dances slowly with his eyes closed the whole time. It was awesome. They don't have the same members now though.
