From what I've seen, Ska is an aquired taste. I personally love it (it's not my favorite music genre, but it's great) while a ton of people hate it. I didn't used to be able to even stand listening to a few songs...but for some reason I changed. I think one was giving it a few chances and going to a few ska shows. It's hard to deny that skanking isn't a fun time.

- Vaux sucks. I probably would have taken LSH over anyone cause I <3 them, but Vaux sucks.

- Not only does I Voted for Kodos suck, but their live show is horrendous.

- Slick Shoes also sucks incredibly live.

that was pretty fun, ska won in more of a blowout than i was expecting 24-6. some of the matchups i had never heard of either band, and some of the matchups were legendary ska bands against punk newcomers. and the terms punk and ska was used very loosely. my hardest decision was skankin' pickle vs the movielife.

One of the few ska bands I do like is a local band thats really good (they've gone on National tours and have like 3 cds) called Better Than Nothing, their really good and cool and funny.....everyone should check out their website its got a bunch of songs and videos (the singer is one funny guy).....there not some half-ass band either there the real shit.....
