The Shins

I've heard about this band so much, but I have yet to hear some of their stuff, so I just wanted to ask for some suggestions? & well what do you think about them?

I haven't actually had the chance to hear them yet, but i've also heard tons about them.

All I know about them is their album is called "Chutes Too Narrow" and they are an indie-rock type band.

yeah, I heard about them being an Indie band, soo I checked them out. I downloaded 3 songs: Girl on the wing; One by One All Day; Turn a Square.

I liked them :)

they have another cd called oh, inverted world that's really good too...and another cd that i haven't heard yet...but chutes too narrow is the best...really amazing stuff

and has anyone else heard there cover of postal service's "we will become silhouttes"? amazing!!

the Shins are awesome. i like kissing the lipless and so says I, those are probably my favorite songs by them.

Yeah I haven't checked them out yet either, but the local Best Buy carries them so they must have something going for them....

Yes, both Shins albums are really good, but 'Chutes To Narrow' is slightly better.

I haven't heard the Shins cover but I did hear Iron & Wine's.

The Shins contract with Sub Pop just expired so they will probably sign to a major label. But, they are already getting pretty big and is gaining a lot of mainstream attention.

Their video has regular play on MTV2 and is pretty cool.

both covers are on one of the postal service's singles along with an unreleased song that is really good...i recommend it

their other single with the remixes is very disappoiting however

The Shins are fantastic. Pink Bullets is my favourite song, and I absolutely adore their cover of We Will Become Sillhouettes. It's fabulous.
