Their new album is overhyped, and Full Collapse was just average.

The only remarkable thing this band ever did was write the song 'Jet Black New Year'. Unfortunately they released it on some stupid EP to finish up their contract with Victory.

I have to agree with some people, thursday means more to me than any band i've ever listened to. I don't really like thrice though, only 'kill me quickly' and 'deadbolt' but i haven't listened to them for months. When i saw them w/ thursday it was dustin (i think, the lead singer)'s birthday, they seemed like cool guys and I thought they played well, but I was just bored.

Thursday and Thrice are both phonomenal bands, I really cant see how ANYONE can say either of them SUCK, I can understand not liking their music but what theyve both done to music in such a short amount of time is amazing both bands are full of great musicians, if someone says either of these bands "suck" its obvious you just havent listened to enough of them, not liking them and sucking are a completely different thing.

i may be just a bit biased as thursday is my favorite band ever, but here goes. Even if you like nothing else about the band just look at the lyrics, to either their album Waiting, or Full Colapse, and the skill that goes into every song on thoes two albums. There is no song that isn't full of emotion, and geuine, and awesome. Plus they kick ass live.

However War All The Time sucks with the exception of like 3 songs.
Oh and they kick Thrice's ass IMO

Have you ever seen them live? I don't care if you hate them, go to one of their shows. I get goosebumps just thinking about the show I saw in September. Incredible musicians. Incredible stage presence. Incredible voice. Incredible lyrics.
When Geoff was doing "This Song Brought To You...", he dropped his mic, dropped to his knees and started screaming "by a falling bomb". I thought I was going to cry, one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. No one spoke after he finished...a'gjf;kfs; it gives me shivers thinking about it.
