Between The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, which do you prefer?

I chose the Colbert Report

Colbert is funnier.

The Daily Show has better information and political commentary.

I can always get real news somewhere else, so I went with Colbert.

The Daily Show is far superior thanks to its supporting cast.

I like the Daily Show better.
Jon Stewart has alaways been my favorite.
And Stephen Colbert just acts a bit to eccentric.
And...republican.
eek.

Isn't the whole point of the show for him to act "republican"?

really? you think? Colbert's gags never seem much more clever. Then again, being scared of bears is pretty sophisticated humor.

Daily Show by a long shot cause they make interesting points on politics while being funny.

Yes, actually I do. Really the Daily Show just bores me, at least Colbert can make the debacle that is the Bush administration seem comical. THAT takes a lot of skill

Stewart's humor appeals to a wider audience, but Colbert is MUCH more clever. He's an outstanding performer, and it's ashame that people forget that on his show he's playing a character.

It's easy for the Daily Show to make their points because they state them directly. However, Colbert has to do it through a satirical character which requires better acting, writing, and creativity. Even the bit about him being scared of bears is a parody of Republicans endless fear of communism (why do you think he always calls them Godless?)

Anyway, I think Jon Stewart is funnier than Stephen Colbert but the Colbert character is gold. Also, I wouldn't mind it too much if the Daily Show got rid of some of it's correspondents (namely Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, and Rob Riggle).

I like both, but I prefer Stewart. I feel like Colbert is just too wild and crazy sometimes, whereas Stewart sticks to clever commentary. But again, I do enjoy both.

jon stewart/daily show by slight margin...

I vote daily show, because the show is slightly more mature, and sometimes colbert gets annoying (which is the point i guess). I think the two shows complement each other nicely though.

I don't know, I think I've just always been more partial to Colbert. I've just never been able to get into the Daily Show, even though I continue to watch it.
My mother, on the other hand, is obsessed with the Daily Show.

The Daily Show, because Jon Stewart actually visualizes his anger with the idiocy of the system.

I like both, but I much prefer Colbert. I think he's a lot funnier, and I don't like how Stewart always laughs at/comments on his own jokes.

Colbert is obviously more satirical. But for me, that gets old after awhile as well. Daily Show 4 lYfe.

Colbert because he can make the interviews funny too. I always change the channel when the daily show goes into the interview because most of the time i simply dont care. Colbert does a nice job with arguing points that are absolutely ridiculous, to the point where the guest has no comeback and Colbert declares himself the winner... hilarious

the colbert is better than stewart. he has more reasons for his opinions for what he says. and hes funny.

The Daily Show is way too one sided. The Colbert Report makes fun of both parties

colbert report does the same stories, same jokes a half and hour later.

daily show by far, steven c. should just go back and support on that one.
