You did a pretty good job of covering all the basic genres and stuff, that way everybody can be happy and stuff. But I think you forgot an important one....'Punk'. Just plain old punk. You know, bands like the Dead Kennedys and Dayglo Abortions and the Oi! Scouts and stuff. That kind of stuff.

I'm a hardcore kiddie. Hope Conspiracy, Boy Sets Fire, Eleanor's Fault, Crimson Spectre, all the thrashing screaming and nonsensical guitar rifts and pointless drums. Its a stupid genre as a whole, but the few bands that shine through are going to change music.
Screamo is second, followed oddly by pop punk hehe, funny.

Oh, at first, I thought you meant classic rock by 'Classic'. But, I undertstand now.

well..political punk to me, is pretty self explanatory i think. basically just punk with a political attitude and lyrics based around politics. anti flag is a more popular example.
