Well here we go.
NFC Champion-----
Green Bay Packers (okay theres no one outstanding in the NFC and I really think the Packers play as of late will land them in the Super Bowl and the Brett Favre story I dunno just seems typical, I like them to win ON THE ROAD twice in a row)
vs.
AFC Champion-----
Indianapolis Colts (my pick from the beginning of the season, no matter what their record is they are the most talented team in the AFC, its going to be TOUGH to go into Arrowhead and come out with a win, best atmosphere in the NFL but if they do they are going, I think the Patriots will win but the Titans have a chance and that would land the Colts at home)
This may sound crazy and most years Id laugh at someone who would pick two teams that have to go on the road and win but I think these are the hottest and best teams in the NFL right now and every year this league gets more even, anyone can beat anyone. Its going to be so fun to watch unfold.....
Your Turn.

How about picks for this weekend?
Colts over Chiefs
Rams over Panthers
Patriots over Titans
Eagles over Green Bay
I think if the Colts beat KC, then they'll be in the superbowl. I think a really good AFC conf. game would be Colts/Patriots. A rematch. I think whatever happens, an AFC team is winning the Super Bowl. A Rams/Patriots rematch is still likely though. I just fucking hope the Titans go down this weekend. It'll be a tough game to watch since I can't stand both teams, but I have a little more respect for New England than I do for the Titans.

fuck no, PACKERS ALL THE WAY
titans will roll the pats in the frozen bowl.
carolina's physical front four are too good and will stop shaky bulger in his first playoff game.
chiefs will continue to win at home over the colts.
eagles will roll over the packers in a really simple game.
eagles vs. titans. superbowl.

Rams should have won that game. They had a chance to make it 14-0, but they settled for 2 FG's. Then Holt dropped that one long pass that would have been a TD, had to punt. That play calling at the end of the 4th was terrible. You have to take at least one (they could have had 2 or 3) shot at the TD to win. It was still a great game. Carolina won't be in the Super Bowl though, I promise that.
I'm feeling very confident about my Patriots pick right now. Even though I'm 0 for 1 so far, I think my other 3 picks will work out. I was 3/4 last week in picking.

I cant stand the Rams so Im glad they lost but they really didnt play like themselves especially Tori Holt, and Marshall Faulk too actually but I really dont think Marc Bulger is as good as a QB as everyone thinks he is...4 plays in 2:35 I think it was, PATHETIC. Mike Martz put on an absolutley horrifc coaching job today..I was happy for the Panthers but they just arent that good theres no way they can beat thePackers or the Eagles but then again I dont think the Patriots are that great either BUT they dont make mistakes and they find a way to win which I suppose makes them great but talent wise I dont think they are the team they are playing like, Bellicheck is a great coach, damn its going to be hard for the Colts to win in Kansas City and New England but I really think they can....well just have to see.

I'm so happy the Titans are out. But I was kind of hoping for them to win, because if the Colts won, I think the Colts would then make it to the Super Bowl since they've been able to beat them twice already. But fuck McNair. I've seen multiple New England games this year on TV and it does amaze me how this team has won 13 straight, since no one on the team really stands out. But the thing is that the whole team plays solid every game (that Viniterri or whatever has been shit this year though). That's why they can win. The defense and offense are on the same page. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the Super Bowl. But out of the teams left, I want the Colts or Packers to win.

next year... panthers will win it all. heres why. their qb is only in his what 3rd season? he's been pretty good but he doesnt have much experience. but hey next year he will and thats why they win it all. plus they have 2 awesome running backs... foster and davis.

No, that wasn't my point. He said Panthers over Colts in the Super Bowl, meaning the Colts will beat NE. I think they will. The Colts are the hottest team in football. Peyton Manning is just a genius. He studied every single defensive play from KC this season. Those audibles he does are incredible. He has 8 TDs and no interceptions in 2 games. I think they'll take it to NE and impress a lot of people.

The eagles are NOT good! they f-ing suck...i dont understand why so many people think they're good and going to the super bowl! they been very lucky to get where they are right now and got so many lucky breaks throughout the season. it's bullshit! they can't do anything with their offense except run with mcnabb...think about it, no pass game, no run game...how many times is mcnabb gonna drop back and scramble? it'll hurt them eventually...they barely beat the packers and the packers played absolutely horrible after their first 2 touchdowns.........if the eagles go on to the super bowl, i'll be pissed.....if the eagles win the super bowl, god forbid, it will be an f-ing disgrace and an absolutely embarrassing year for the NFL...........go panthers, i guess.

im not sure you could say they suck considering they have a pretty good record and winning how many ever straight. mcnabb is an awesome qb... in the top 5 in the league. i dont want the eagles to win. but i dont think the panthers have enough this year. eagles are weak on run defense though... so the panthers do have a chance.

The Eagles are one of the luckiest teams in the league. Look at that Giants game early in the year. They only won because of a punt return at the end of the game. The first game against the Packers, they only won that because McNabb pulled a little magic out of his ass. And the same thing happened again this weekend.
McNabb was sacked like 9 times in that game this weekend. That's terrible. I don't think the Eagles have what it takes to win the Super Bowl. And I also wouldn't put him in the top 5 of the league right now.

he is a good qb no doubt about it... but it was a huge leap from last year to this year. last year i saw him play against the bucs and he was just horrible. but this year he wasnt that far from excellent. his progression is quite amazing. i would hate to see what happens next year with him and the panthers.

how is that racism??? wait to jump to conclusions buddy...i'm talking about how most black quarterbacks are rushing qb's as opposed to most white qb's that are more pocket-passing qb's.....therefore, i'm am stating how you are more likely to win with a pocket-passing qb instead of a rushing qb since the rushing qb game plan eventually is stopped when you play the better teams with smarter defenses....not once did i make any type of racist comment saying how i don't like black qb's and only like white qb's....AS A MATTER OF FACT, I THINK BLACK QB'S ARE AWESOME AND MICHAEL VICK AMAZING....so i suggest you get your facts straight before you make a comment like that and try to start a heated argument about racism.....i don't understand why racism was the first thought that came to your head....read the posts more carefully and try to take in the actual purpose of each post instead of trying to analyze each one.......btw, i am so far from racist, you have no idea...

And it's funny how everyone jumped on TheE11 here like people went after Rush Limbaugh for his comments. He just stated a fact. Only one black QB has won a Super Bowl so the odds are against them. Plus, I don't think there's any team in the NFL right now with a black QB that can win a Super Bowl. McNair proved how getting co-MVP was a crock of shit (Manning should have won it by himself). He couldn't convert 4th and 12, and their season was over. The Falcons need a shitload of players if they want to have a good team. You can't just rely on Vick. The Eagles don't have a star receiver and their run game isn't too consistent since they have 3 different guys.

ya see, i think they need to draft another running back for if taylor gets hurt considering hes still not the greatest and his injuries could easily come back up. i was a little mad that they didnt resign stacey mack. he was rushing like crazy. he was better than taylor was for a few years. but taylor proved himself this year. i really like him and his determination.
but leftwhich can bomb that ball, hes got an arm on him. and hes a nice pocket passer too. he looks to throw before he looks to run. which is one thing most young QB's lack. so he will definately mature into a great QB if he can keep this up.

as for stacey mack being better than fred taylor...give me a break, what an absurd statemeent, i've never ever heard anyone make that statement and for good reason, taylor is one of the top 5 backs in the league...once the young o-line matures...and we get some decent recievers, the jags offense is gonna be explosive
um do you not read all my posts? i said i havent payed much attention to football this year because of baseball and basketball having me side-tracked.
and you also skimed my post about the mack and taylor one which is kinda funny. i said he has been better the last few years. considering when he got a chance to play to when taylor played whenever they split time. i think mack rushed for 1000 yards that season to.
Edwards could be a top reciever but it would take some time. and yes smith is old. Johnson was a good addition this past season. but yes a top reciever would be nice.
dont we got fernando bryant? whats up with him? he's not preforming to his potential yet?

haha Stacey Mack and Fred Taylor in the same sentence is an injustice.
taylor is injury prone. mack isnt. mack would be a good 2nd option. but i guess the jags didnt see that.

mack was never better than taylor...that's ridiculous...he get's a starting job with houston and loses it to a rookie....im sure fred taylor would have done this
fernando bryant is horrible...he makes plays every now and then but he gets burned all the damn time...none of the corners we've drafted have lived up to their potential except mathis
and yes, mack would be a good second option, except he wanted 1st option money...he wanted to start, that's why he left...and besides, the jags have toefield now who can play....he'll probably leave when his contract is up once teams realize he's the real deal (although the jags backup running backs haven't faired well in starting roles...i.e james stewart, stacey mack)

Super Bowl:
New England vs. Philly
New England is going to lose. If not this week, then in the Super Bowl. you just can't win 15 straight games in the NFL anymore.

somebody should show this thread to the nfl as proof that a two week break before the superbowl is a bad idea, it's superbowl week and nobody wants to discuss anymore
it was an exciting playoffs, now zzzzzzzz
