yeah, let's hope the cover doesn't reflect the quality of the album. their last record was amazing, and i hope this continues into the alt/country direction. and i personally think something to write home about is tguk's worst album, especially when you compare it to on a wire and four minute mile.

dude, somethint to write home about was a continuation of four minute mile. Those two are styilistically similar. Four Minute Mile is in no way akin to On A Wire. I guess I'm trying to say, "What the hell are you talking about?"

Yeah....this album cover definitely doesn't look very cool. I loved the art on On A Wire so I'm hoping that maybe this will change a bit before the album hits. If not I guess it's no big deal just hope the cd is good.

On vagrant.com there was a short clip of the song "man of conviction". Starting Feb. 1st TGUK will launch a new website. Ever week they will releas either a new song, live song, video footage ect. The song in the clip is "man of conviction" to me sounds like STWHA and 4MM with an edge.

I'm hping the crappiness of the artwork for the cover is because they spent so much time in the fuckin studio. It's not pretty, but I really don't think it matters as long as the music is spectacular

I think what he was trying to say is that Something to Write Home About is the poppiest of the bunch and has the least amount of staying power...4MM and OAW are both outstanding albums and I like them a lot more than STWHA (although it's still good)
