Yes, that is true. Popularity counts more in this world than credibility. Another person with an undeserved tribute album: Avril Levine. Nobody likes her much except for a crowd of preteens and she only has out one CD, yet she gets a tribute album. Her music will not be remembered in fifteen years and neither will Good Charlotte's probably. So I guess we can all sit back and laugh one day when these people are washed up and doing a bunch of reality TV shows (which will probably be back in style in another decade) while Green Day and bands of talent are still out there making a living.

I never said there was anything wrong with them. Thats what I don't like, when people stop liking other music simply because of what other people will think of them for it. I'm not saying you've stoped liking them, but I guarantee partly why you've lost interest in them as compared to before, is because of how everybody shittalks GC.
