i knew that mike judge had a contract for a second movie from when the first one became such a hit, but i never thought hed use it, and sure as hell not in this way. and i can honestly say that i am a beavis & butt-head OBSESSOR. SUCH a big part of my childhood, when other kids were watching regular cartoons i was watching this, doug, and hey arnold , and thats IT haha.

ANYWAYS, if heder does infact play butt-head and scott does play beavis... this could be hilarious. for those of you who think it'll be ruined... well, there's no way in HELL mike judge would allow it to be. thats why hes kept a cover on the franchise for the past decade, because theres no bigger b&b fan than him, and he didnt want to tarnish the legacy.

everything the man touches is gold, with the exception of idiocracy (due to being rushed), and im sure hes got a plan to make sure this is no exception.

i for one am excited. how about everyone else?

And this idea sounds terrible. Beavis and Butthead is one of my favorite shows ever. It gets knocked as idiot humor (which it is), but as with all of Judge's work, under a thick coat of stupidity is a layer of incredibly smart writing and satire beneath.

Idiocracy was not "rushed," the studio just didn't like Judge's satirical sense of humor. That movie is terrific and goes to show how well Mike Judge knows humor - it's dumb comedy for smart people.

And Do America might be one of the best adult-themed animated movies ever ... I love quoting that film.

well i just recall reading in some places (specifically i think the ign review) that the final product was rushed so it didn't ome out exactly as planned. it's an enjoyable movie, but i just don't think that it's up to par with the more groundbreaking things judge has put out, even if its not his fault.

I know for a fact I and a bunch of my friends will be going to see this no matter how it turns out. I agree with the majority, in that a cartoon would almost certainly be better and I'm not that excited by the actors lined up now, especially if they can't nail the voices.

As long as they get the voices down right I am somewhat interested in seeing this,I love beavis&butthead as a kid plus I am a big Jon Heder fan.
