I think that the new Phantom Planet album is one of the best albums i have heard. the lyrics are very social, but are totally artistic in every way. I have been a long time Phantom Planet fan, and was afraid when they said they were changing their style. but I absolutely love every song on the new cd. there is so much power and energy. I dont really see the comparison with the strokes...Alex Greenwalds voice is 100 x better then the dead pan delievery of the Strokes lead singer. Anyways I give this album a 9 out of 10.

I just picked up the new album yesterday and im already listened to it like 6 times today. Its quite different from the last album, its not quite as eclectic, its much more centered in one genre. I still really like it. It sucks that jason isnt in the band any more as well.

Yes, new phantom planet rocks my socks. It's about time we get some more rock like phantom planet does it, not like "the (insert plural word here)" bands do it. It reminds me of a harder version of their first album, also, a very good CD.
