i definitly wouldnt count that out, considering who they are.

also. i just got a phone call from a friend saying that a band that he is "involved with" (i dont want to give away who it was) just signed a deal with drive thru last night. and im not talking about jenoah or whatever. also. a friend of richards told me that he has been planning on just signing a bunch of new bands for a while, or something.

take it all for what it is though..

This Jenoah band sounds pretty good (from what i've heard so far at least) and I haven't heard Adelphi yet, but if I like them, it's two thumbs up.

It's official, posted on the main page here not long ago:

Drive-Thru Records has signed Adelphi. Plus, look for another signing to be announced in a few days.

2 new bands already. a 3rd one on its way. Right on.

Thanks man, I like Adelphi, generic yet effective, I like them more than the other band forgot their name, on the DTR intro, but they are good too...but what about Socratic are they on Pure Volume? The news page says they got signed too....

It says there will be as many as two more. Fuck, 5 bands in this short of time. Holy shit.

Hmm, nope. Socratic aren't on Pure Volume. Personally, out of Adelphi and Jenoah so far, I like Jenoah better. But Adelphi sound good too. But i'm interested to hear the other 3.

I hope one of the new bands is something new for them, like a hardcore band(just an example), thats very doubtful but I think it would be cool if they expanded their horizions a bit

I liked the Adelphi band more than the Jenoah band or just as much, I can't really say because you can only hear like a 30 second clip of Jenoah, but I like Adelphi very much, nice pick up for Drive-Thru............I also talked to someone that supposedly said Drive-Thru was looking at their band, it was a while ago, but I still I don't want to say anything just in case, they are post-hardcore though............

well if theyre signing all these bands from no where that a lot of people never heard they might sign anyone like your best buddy's garage band or something

i personally hope one of them is houston calls

they have NOT signed Adelphi yet. i talked to them directly. they have not signed yet. they are being given a contract in the next few days tho for a demo deal. but they are NOT signed yet.
