Mhm. E String Records out of Charlotte, NC is looking to team up with some awesome people to put out some awesome records. It's a small, independently owned label (currently a one-man operation) and I firmly believe in the DIY punk ethics. If this sounds about right for you, get in contact with me at: dionbeary[at]gmail.com (dionbeary@gmail.com). Here are some other things you may need to know about E String:
Note: I don't actually "sign" bands. I'm not really into big contracts and long-term obligations so each album will have it's own individual deal. That way, neither of I, nor any of the artists I work with, will ever feel pressure to stay in a situation where they aren't totally comfortable. Also, this protects artists from the artistic struggle they may feel in a major label situation.
If you think you're awesome, please, talk to me in this thread, in PM's, or in emails and we'll see if there's a deal we can work out.

hey my band few never fail is definately interested in this. our myspace can be found at www.myspace.com/fewneverfail (http://www.myspace.com/fewneverfail)
We are an up and coming Melodic Hardcore band with pop-punk influences. we sound like a combination of the following bands. Everytime I die, A Day To Remember, Senses Fail, Underoath and Killswitch Engage. Drawing influence from all of the above creates a very unique sound. Since inception in Cctober of 2007 we have played with bands such as Tokyo Rose, Farewell to Freeway, Vanna and Here I Come Falling. With an excellent lineup and drive and motivation we are ready to take the music industry by storm.
check out Your Life and Mine, there my last band. They would be interested for sure.

I'm assuming anything you can offer these bands, they can do on their own.

Eh, if you look at it that way, thus is true for all record labels, I suppose. *shrugs*
I just want to help get music I love out to more people.

this sounds awesome! Ive got alot of new stuff in the works for my upcoming album and am taking vocal lessons now, but you can hear some of my older stuff at www.myspace.com/theryanfitzgeralds (http://www.myspace.com/theryanfitzgeralds) . Im out of Massachusetts and generally do my own recordings but I am looking for label support for my new stuff. Its more upbeat and has some electric guitars and still some acoustic.

Sorry for coming off as a dick, but the sudden wave in do nothing myspace labels are starting to annoy me.

I absolutely plan on pressing the records and possibly paying bands to record once I've worked with them after awhile. Yeah, I don't plan on doing any third-party stuff to sell the music (the exception of iTunes). I'm annoyed with those kinds of "labels" as well, among others, which is why I started E String.

Were interested!

We only have one song recorded, but we have a lot more written.
Plus the lead singer was sick when we did the recording.
So were going a more upbeat/poppy direction, and we are fully acoustic for the time being.
Hit me up if your interested!
