what is the meaning behind them, ive always wondered but never got a good explanation

aren't those the stars that each point is seperated in half and is two different colours ? i may be wrong.

but if so, i dont think there really is any meaning behind them. they're just a cool design.

well yeh it is a five pointed star, each side split into two different colors, usually red and black

yeah I dont think there is much meaning behind them...i think they are used a lot on like ships/boats and shit. hence nautical. but i dunno..just making a wild guess

They're just something people get as a tattoo far too often, be original, kids.

yeah, its a popular tattoo design...i think the basic ones are black and white..but when it comes to tattoos....ive seen a lot of different colors

If you're going to get a tattoo, something you're more than likely going to be stuck with forever, why not get something that actually says something about you, instead of a generic nautical star that everyone and their mother already has?

I know I probably won't end up getting it..but you never know.

what I really want is the blink 182 bunny tatooed on my shoulder.
