Was there ever a point in time
When society and honesty both existed
Happy and alive
Any days where I could forget how I used to feel
And focus on things that could possibly be real
Happy and alive
The warm days ahead where I could possibly turn into fire
Burn down the buildings they kept you prisoner
Parts of me keeping you safe
By keeping everyone else in harm's way
Happy and alive
Any day that comes could be dreary and wet, the way I used to like it
But I found the point in time where happy and alive might possibly exist.
Together, away from the arms of social phone book minds
And into the arms of our own golden age, into the arms of what we consider our prime.
