I don't really understand him. I've read interviews with him and he talks lovingly about his daughters and how much they mean to him. Yet for the past however many years he's had this raunchy, obscenity-filled arena of comedy. I just don't see how that's fatherly or successful parenting. Am I wrong here?

other than the bob saget song/video, he was neer funny to me. the only comedy i ever saw him do only related to his work on full house. he never had any real stand-up material.

pretty much same, good stand-up, good on talk shows, sucks horribly on any channel oriented towards the entire family
and to the person who thought he was a bad father for having raunchy jokes... people's stand up really doesn't have anything to do with how they treat people off stage, and its not like he uses the same comedy with his kids as he does with a room full of grown adults who have paid to see him
