awesome post-rock/experimental collaboration effort from Guelph/London, ON. Dave (main guy behind the project) just put up the new album called Eucatastrophe (the opposite of catastrophe) to stream on myspace.

try to listen to the songs in order as it is a concept album but if you don't have 40 minutes, the third track ("Sleepers awake...") is a great summary of the album and represents the title perfectly. read the newest blog post for more detailed info...

kind of boring. i get the whole "post-rock" thing, the recording is good, but that song that you recommended drags on SOOOO much. there is nothing seperating this band from a bad rip off of someone like russian circles, except it isn't as interesting.

So I listened to the whole thing and absolutely loved it. And the concept is pretty sweet.
I need this, badly. Ha.

unfortunately the guy is in university and hence has limited funds. there was talk about putting up a .zip of the album but he's gonna wait it out till he gets it pressed/artwork is finished.
