and they have done almost every test you
can think of and they still can't figure out what
is wrong with him. its kinda making me uneasy.
he's cold - even though he has 5 blankets over him,
he's lost 50 pounds within 20~ days, he can't really talk
although when he does its only a word that can be understood,
he can't really move - he can only move his arms pretty much,
and he just seems to be so out of it. i just don't understand
why they can't find anything. in no way am i blaming the doctors
or cursing them but it just amazes me that with everything they
have done not one single thing has presented a problem or at
least a damn clue. ever happen to ya'll/your relatives/friends?
1. Sorry to read about your grandpa. That's terrible that they can't figure something out.
2. Hopefully he pulls through. How old is he?
3. Luckily this has never happened to anyone in my family. Although my gramps is going through some struggle right now, they know what's happening with him.

thank you

Well although you may not want to hear it the life expectancy for a male is 74 nowadays. Which is pretty shitty, but still that's up there you know? I feel badly that they don't know what's going on with him. That must be terrible for him and the rest of your family to fight everyday. Hopefully they'll find out and be able to treat him so you can have him back.

That's understandable to feel that way. Best of luck to you and your family as well as the doctors and your grandfather. I hope it all turns out well.

No problem.

i just found out the other day my aunt lucy (my mothers aunt, she has cancer) the chemotherapy isn't working and she was put on hospice and that usually means the end for her shortly. I feel sad about it, but thats the fact of life. Im sorry to hear about your grandpa. its a tough time. i hope things get better for him.

Everything turns out for the best, though, and I'm sure it won't be any different with you.

Something similar happened to my grandma last year. She only had 1/3 of the amount of blood that you should have, but she wasn't bleeding externally so we didn't know. It turned out that her body basically stopped producing blood. After a month of suffering she passed. It was probably the hardest time in my life. I wish you and your family the best. It's just really important to stay strong for your grandpa and family.

the toughest thing is seeing my dad so confused.
he just really really wants to know what is happening to him.
it is the fact of life and i've excepted everything that comes with it.
its just the whole fear of the unknown right now messing with our minds.

i'm sorry for your loss. it is hard, i still think
of my other grandpa that passed 6 years ago
everyday.
oh i'm trying.
the sad thing is half of my family doesn't care.
they have this grudge against him and they can't
see how ridiculous it is. i'm trying very hard for my
dad though. thank you though.

i just hope he doesn't have to suffer any longer

didnt mean to be a sarcastic asshole, it was just habit.
but really, i hope he gets better. my great grandfather died when i was very young, and my mom's dad divorced my gma and doesn't even send my mom/family birthday/christmas cards, so in a sense, I know what its like to lose a loved one.
keep your head up, and live each day like its your last. you never know when something could strike you down.
best wishes for your grandfather.

I'm sorry to hear about your gramps. My grand dad is on the tight rope that is life right now because he won't follow his doctors orders in regards to what he can and can't do or what medication he is suppose to take. So i know how tough it can be, even harder when you don't have an answer as to whats going on. Best of luck to your gramps, i hope he can pull through with you and your families love and support.
