Best live show ever. Hands down. Anyways their singer/keyboardist Paul has this to say about they're upcoming album:
"Our goal is to embarrass the first record, that's what we're trying to do here, and I think we're on point to pull it off" (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mute_math)

I don't even know if it's possible to top their first LP, but if it is... Well, I'm way too excited already.

I really would like to see them live. Just seeing videos of them is quite impressive.

They are so great live.
I have high expectations of the new cd. I'm almost sick of the first one as I've played it so much.

We should probably talk about this band more.

This band is wonderful live. I'm glad to see someone is not scared to talk about how they want to crush what they've done before rather than say something generic like, "We are more mature now than a couple years ago, so we wrote a more mature record." bullshit.

I think you're forgetting something.

I seen them at the 89x christmas show and they were really cool
quite loud, and despite the 30 minutes of stage time they put on a good show

They are very good live, that's for sure. I think they could improve upon their first record by trimming the songs down. A lot of the songs go on for 30 seconds or so too long and it's kind of annoying. Their debut does have some very good songs on it, but maybe they are thinking they are making a better overall record the second time around.

They have one of the best drummers in the world:

I agree with this man, every word. Saw them last night for I think the 6th or so time spread over a few years.. no band can touch their energy live. I watch the dvd more than any other dvd in my collection. I hope the new album is even more spacey and wonderful. Can't wait.

It's so hard to wait so long for this. I really hope they can top the self titled album. Could be impossible.

I wish they had nothing to do with Twilight... but glad they're getting more recognition off of it.

Mute Math was filming for a DVD yesterday in Atlanta. They did some ridiculous things with their stage set-up, so it will be fun to watch again.

just saw them at an awesome, free outdoor show. first time seeing them... their energy was awesome. they had a ton of great jam sessions, the lead singer was on top of his keyboard, jumping into the audience, and doing handstands on the keyboard. they played a lot of new stuff which was awesome, and at one point the bassist started playing the drums, the drummer started playing the keyboard, the keyboard player go on top of the keyboard and started playing another set of drums, and the guitar player was shredding the entire time. then they all switched back to their original instruments without missing a beat. was really incredible.

and now theyre new album leaked so ill be spending lots of time with that.
