can anyone give me some recomendations on bands that sound like say anything? it could be lyrically or musically or both :-)

First time I've ever heard Weatherbox and I have to say they totally outshine S.A. in many respects.

I've heard You, Me, And Everyone We Know sound similar to Say Anything. I'm not big enough of a SA fan to say if I agree but YMAEWK is pretty fuckin awesome.

First things that came to mind were already mentioned: Weatherbox (did a song with SA that got cut from IDOTG, they tour together a lot, claim SA as a big influence) and YMAEWK (Max posted on here to encourage people to download their EP)

I first checked out Mansions (http://www.purevolume.com/mansions)because I heard it was like Say Anything. Check out "The Worst Part"

Oh, and if you like Weatherbox, check out Shining Through (http://www.myspace.com/shiningthrough). Brian from Weatherbox even did a song with them.

I would check out Eric Solomon. He's not as pop sounding as Say Anything but the rock and punk is definitely there, and his music is catchy and totally authentic. Check him out at www.ericsolomonmusic.com, I'm sure you'll love it. :)

The Matches first album, E.Von Dahl Killed The Locals, reminds me quite a bit of Say Anything, you've probably heard of them though. If not check out the song Sick Little Suicide

Innerpartysystem reminds me of Say Anything. A darker Say Anything with electronics and slightly worse (but by no means bad) lyrics. Also, the vocalist sound somewhat similar.

They're good, judging on the songs I heard from their myspace, but I haven't heard anything else from them
