Statement from FFTL

Travis from From First To Last writes to give an official update on the departure of their singer:
"We wanted to fill everyone in on what's been going on lately with FFTL. I'm sure you've noticed that Phil is no longer with us, and as much as we will miss having him around its the best move for both sides. We found a replacement and everything is going as scheduled with our album. Writing this album has been a lot of fun and we are all really proud with the direction it has taken. It's a little different. We start recording in a couple weeks here in Valdosta, GA. Best of luck to Phil and "hope for the best". P.S. We are bringing South Georgia Sweet Tea back to Southern California when we move there in March."

I dont know how to really describe it..
It's different and its something we are all very proud of. It's as if you took our e.p. and replaced the immature parts with crank. More rock n roll...way dancier...and WAY more Brutal. Think Refused meets In flames meets Foo Fighters (colour and the shape) with extrememly infectious melodies and REALLY dark undertones. Wow that made no sense..anyways thanks to everyone you are totally BOSS!!
take your shirts off and spin them around your head like a helicopter..

Hey, wait..... I live out there and stopped in from time to time and saw some of that album being written, but I dont recall you being there Travis. Werent you gone when that album was written..... Thats weird how that works.

im not gonna turn this thread into some 6 year old banter between me and someonelse. I have been apart of every song durring this whole process. Matt writes the songs, derek writes his drum parts, jon writes bass lines and i write vocals and help with arranging the songs. Thats our formula. I wasnt there durring the initial phase of song writing because both my hands and my arms were broken and i was seeing a doctor in GA. I did however sign a waver to get my casts off early even though my right hand was still broken so i could hurry to gainesville and start helping. I hope that "whoever" is being so negative could maybe act his age and stop trying to start internet drama..
Again, thanks to everyone that is being supportive of FFTL and our full length will NOT let you down!!!
