Yeah, you should look into the bands on my list and bowl of oranges list. Bright Eyes and Thursday are probably good starting points. Saves the Day and The Early November are good gateway drugs as well.

Explore different musical genres and eras. You'll find your way eventually.

My music tastes have changed a lot since I posted this, so it doesn't really stand anymore. Number one at the moment is probably Lamb of God, but changes day to day. I don't like Tokio Hotel anymore, and don't really listen to any My Chem anymore. Having said that, I still love Bullet For My Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold.
Also, HIM's new ablum is good, but it's not their best. However, I do still own it. (:
