View Full Version : All Time Low - Six Flags St.Louis - 06/05/08
just-in.

All Time Low are doing a few Six Flags dates this summer, and I went to the one in St.Louis today. Not the usual ATL show, it was a family park, which meant no dick and fart jokes, and a no cussing rule, which was occasionally broken. It was pretty good, they seemed into it, which surprised me sort of, because of other responses I've seen to shows at Six Flags. Lots of little girls, lots of little girls, I was actually very shocked at the ages of some of them. Pretty good set list I guess, I was happy to see The Party Scene in there, and they encored with Break Out! Break Out!, which was great. Starbursts was one of the sponsors of the show, and Alex at one point mentioned how they don't usually like doing things for big corporations, but they couldn't pass up the juicy fruitiness, or something along those lines. They also did an improv rap song about starbursts during the break between Umbrella and Remembering Sunday.
All in all though, it was really good, they said they'd be back in the fall, doing a headlining tour, and that they would be playing The Pageant here, which will definetely be a show to catch.
set list:
Six Feet Under the Stars
The Beach
Shameless
Poppin' Champagne
Jasey Rae
Coffee Shop Soundtrack
Let It Roll
The Party Scene
Umbrella
Remembering Sunday
Dear Maria
--Encore--
Break Out! Break Out!

Sounds good. Nice setlist - better than their AP tour one anyway.

Their set list is like a mix of all the tours they've done. Well recently of course

They play the worst songs off So Wrong, It's Right... Where's "This Is How We Do", "Holly", and "Stay Awake", or "Vegas"? "Let It Roll", "The Beach", and "Poppin Champagne" are annoying.

Oh yeah, Stay Awake is great live. Both the times I saw them they played Stay Awake, and they don't even play This is How We Do that much. They only played it when they were on tour with Boys Like Girls, I don't know why though. It's a great song.

So bummed I missed these guys when they were in Atlanta. Good setlist, although I do agree there are more enjoyable songs off of the new album.

They played this exact set minus "Remembering Sunday" and "Break Out! Break Out!" at the Journeys Backyard Barbeque tour in PA today. I was hoping for the that same encore but no luck.
They said they'll be at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia... I've heard that two of the opening bands on that tour are The Maine and Mayday Parade.

That's stupid. Probably because:
Boys raise your glasses, girls shakes those - (get up x3)
Just a guess. But it's still weird. I saw them back with CIWWAF last year, great set.
If they just played So Wrong, It's Right in its entireity live, that'd be sweet. =D

I really dislike Holly, to me it's a weak song. Same w/ Poppin' Champagne

If they could come to the west coast with even just these two bands, it'd be a match made in heaven. I'd pay big money and give my right nut to see it.

Well, I heard that since the last similar tour (Man Whores and Open Sores) was mostly only east coast this tour is going all over. So your signs are good so far!
Every Avenue is on this tour too.

This show was fun, except for the unatural amount of twelve year old girls there. I mean, I was next to this one girls' dad. It was okay until "Dammit" came on beforehand and none of the little girls knew any one the words, that kind of made me a little angry. But the actual show was good, it was nice that they played "Break Out! Break Out!"

They actually have opened with This Is How We Do, or at least they did at the first show of the manwhores tour. That show was sweet, it was a tiny venue and the setlist rocked.

The Maine must have a shitload of money for all these buy-ins. First BLG/GC and now this.

Cool setlist but don't you have to pay the price of admission to see bands play at six flags?
