This show is going to be awesome! No doubt about it. Both the Mars Votla and A Perfect Circle are amazing bands...put them on the same stage in one night and you don't know what could happen!

See, the Mars Volta purely make music for themselves. The people who like Mars Volta are closer to casual spectators of their music than fans. if I want to be a spectator, i'll go to a hockey game.

At the drive in had always made genuinely interesting music that rocked nicely while keeping the length relatively short and sweet, yet experimental without turning it into a liberal arts course.

What the hell is wrong w/ that? Writing music for themselves is what makes bands great and makes the music sincere and honest. Would you prefer them to play what everyone else wants to hear or better yet to conform to whatever you want to listen to?
