A lot of good punk music has pop elements, and more importantly, who gives a shit? I enjoy both and the subtle way you try to condescend those who listen to music that can be considered pop is rather tasteless on your part.

I'm not trying to take the brunt of this out on you, but I'm awfully tired of seeing this stereotypical post from music fans who feel their representation of punk is the one true side to the music world. It's very easy to rip on anyone for the kind of music they like, and while opinions are fine and dandy, this whole "actual punk" remark has been worn thin.
