People from CO -

Does it seem weird that its at the filmore? Saves the Day? Filmore? That's pretty huge.

is anyone else a little bothered by this? the fact is that 3/4 of sunny day real estate is opening for saves the day after they served up a release that was best described in a punknews review by someone whose opinion i have lots of respect for (inagreendase)

don't get me wrong, stay what you are and through being cool are two great albums, but this is like having the gloria record or jets to brazil opening for you, i mean, if you grew up on their music, this has to be kinda weird for saves the day...

Well, Superchunk opened for The Get Up Kids. That is more weird that this.

And Green Day opened for Blink at a few shows of Pop Disaster...

Either way, The Fire Theft is technically a "new" band, so I don't think it's wierd at all. It'll be a great show.

Shit! Why do they have to play The Moore!? That's easily the worst venue in Seattle. OK, maybe not the worst, but it's definitely down there.

isn't this co-headlining with saves the day and grandaddy? both bands have a pretty big following, although of slightly different demographics.

i'm going to the dc date!
