You can read a comment in the replies from Will of Straylight Run as he and the rest of the band are touring in Europe with Brand New and Moneen.

that's older than my country.

its a line from a "minus the bear" song. it sums up the dumb
american experiencing europe's history.

holy crap.
hi.
i'm in manchester england.
at an internet cafe...in manchester...england.
weird.

the UK has been amazing so far.
its incredible to get such a passionate response from people who
live so far away, who we thought didn't know we existed.

last night in scottland, (yea...scottland)
these kids were interviewing us and they told us how they would go
to coffee houses and bars and cover straylight songs acoustically
and we were completely dumbfounded. so naturally we embarassed them
and made them play for us and some of the moneen kids. they did an
awesome job with existentialism.

anyways
yea moneen are the nicest people in the world
(but that makes sense, they are canadian)
they rule and so does their german van driver dennis, i gave them a
RANDY cd to rock out to across the scottish/english countryside.

we're trying to stay out of jail and make it home in once peice.
we still have a week to go...we shall see

thank you guys for everything.

I'm not Canadian, but I'm going to the Toronto show. I've seen Straylight Run twice and Brand New five times. I'm the selfish one, lol! I really want to see John and Jesse to do a song together. They didn't at the show I saw BN and SR together at in November.

I was at said Scotland show...It was such an awesome night, Straylight were on top form, though perhaps a little mellow to be following up Moneen, who,in my eyes, stole the show, there sound was HUGE and stage presence second to none. Brand New are probably my favourite band still in existance (R.I.P Movielife) and I was disappointed, although no 'Shower Scene' was a bit of a let down.
