I basically started this thread because these guys are awesome, the music they play is upbeat and fun and filled with positive things to say. So check them out and support honest, hardworking talented musicians. Recommended if you like Set Your Goals, Less Than Jake, basically poppunk with a great horn section and hardcore elements.

Good stuff.
"I'm like john cusack" is pretty good. I think they should tour with Streetlight.

They sound like Less Than Jake + really bad "pop-punk". Not feeling it.

"I'm Like John Cusack" is fucking amazing. I hadn't had the urge to listen to a song on repeat in years.
I just bought Great Leaps Forward and really enjoy it so far. I looked into downloading Who We Are from their purevolume page but it only had two tracks available for download. Am I missing something, is the whole thing still up for download there or not?

My friend just got it a couple of days ago so I got it from him. Thanks anyways though.
Seriously, Great Leaps Forward is in my top 5 of the year so far, along with being my summer album. SOOOOO good.

Such a great band! Pretty stoked that they'll be hitting the road with Strung Out and Rufio this fall -- Pretty diverse, yet extremely fitting tour for all bands involved.
Hopefully some of the pop-punk Rufio and WATU fans stick around to see the majesty that is Strung Out live!

Great Leaps Forward IMO is the best thing they've written so far. If they keep going on like this, they'll be so amazing.

I filmed an acoustic session with We Are The Union last night for my site Punks in Vegas (http://www.punksinvegas.com/?p=3018). I think it came out pretty rad:

Well, this new E.P. is definitely a fuckin' treat. The riffage on "If I Can't Smoke..." is phenomenal! More power to these guys for keeping' on doing what they're doing. It's refreshing, to say the least, to hear a band continually use not only horns but upstrokes as well.

They're so talented. I wish they got the attention they deserve.
