I think members SHOULD state that. Why not state how you feel. A band is supposed to be something that's an amazing experience for everyone in it, not infuriating and exhausting(this only applies to other's personalities). Good for him. Even Lou Pearlman wouldn't be able to work his magic.

yeah, if it's not just some sloppy excuse to brush people off..then is when i think it's unnecessary. if it truly is how they feel and are leaving due to bad terms then it should be stated truthfully

I don't like this band anymore. I couldn't stand the screaming on the new album. I think they've just fallen apart. It would be better if they got rid of the name dance gavin dance and just came up with something new. Considering there's barely anything left of the original DGD.
