Ryan Adams (http://www.ryan-adams.com) has suffered a suspected broken wrist after falling off stage in Liverpool last night. It is unclear how the rest of his tour will be affected, but as a fan reported, his drummer came out after the incident and announced it would probably be their last show for a while.

I think ryan adams is awesome. It's not punk so maybe that is why some of you dont like him. Just an assumption.

Well -- I think his music's fairly decent -- he certainly gets heavy rotation at my radio station. But I also think he's a prick so I find it support anything he does (I know it's not right to judge since I don't know him blah blah blah). In terms of the style of solo singer/songwriter, I would take Ben Kweller over him any day of the week.

OK, Ryan Adams may be a little over some of your heads because of that little thing called
" real talent" that he has!!!! The man's amazing, and if you don't know now, when the advent of your mid-20's and ageing tastes hit you, you'll understand.

some better solo albums:
Elliott Smith "Either/Or"
Elliott Smith "XO"
June Panic "Hope You Fail Better"
Ben Kweller "Sha Sha"
Beck "Sea Change"
Stephen Malkmus "self-titled"
Liz Phair "Exile in Guyville"
Matthew Sweet "Girlfriend"

Check these out and you'll undoubtedly find that Ryan Adams and his contrived shtick leave much to be desired. The only album I can stand of Adams is "Heartbreaker" before his routine got old.
