The BBC has posted an article (http://www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/music/2004/01/brand_new_review.shtml) and review of the Moneen / Straylight Run / Brand New UK show. They also posted an audio interview (http://www.bbc.co.uk/leicester/realmedia/2004/01/brand_new.ram) with Jesse Lacey. One of the most interesting parts of the interview, I thought, is that Brian did the drumming for the Nightmare of You demos and might possibly do more.

Relax, it wasn't a personal attack against your family or anything. It's the BBC, I'd be surprised if they knew everything about up and coming American rock bands. It's cool that the bands are getting exposure, especially across the pond.

Yeah...i was at that gig and i spoke to the journalist. She didnt seem to know a thing just like the article suggests. Although it was a bloody amazing gig! Brand new are my favourite band and man i could have done such a better job of reviewing them. Its well annoying that people like her get to meet BN (although i actually met some of them and the two ex 'take back saturday' members from straylight). Damn it annoys me. Sorry for ranting. L8r.

Dammit, I just want the freaking Straylight Run album to get out. They need to sign, produce, and release that isht. I know it's going to be amazing. I mean..their little demo's were tremendous so how could a studio recorded album not be? I just want to hear it so bad. That or atleast more demos.
